Position and brand
What are we talking about?
The consumer is incredibly savvy today… ask the appliance vendor. The customer knows what they want before they enter the store. In fact that is if they enter a store at all. Information is everywhere, with rating services, online consumer reports and how about that cross-selling?
Positioning a product, company, or service means finding a place in the marketing landscape. It's not always the easiest to defend, but it's the place that your service or product belongs. And a place where you can achieve the sales you need.
Defining that position in the marketplace allows us to know what we have to do to grow, retain and defend that position. Designing a “brand” is often understanding what people currently think of you, your company and your service. Sometimes that means altering the perception that the marketplace has pigeon-holed you into. Reinvigorate products in the minds of your customers – take cream cheese from something someone spreads on their bagel to something you make cake with. Create a package that breaks through on the shelf so that your product is picked up more than the competitor’s. Create a service process that defines your brand and that customers return to time and time again because they simply feel you are the best.
Whatever your challenge, we welcome it. Let's find a place in the market that is right for you and create an offering that makes the cash register ring.
