Limelight is pleased to announce the launch of www.fareshare.ca for the Northumberland Fare Share Food Banks.
Limelight worked to reposition Fare Share, created a new brand image, and created communications programs for the charitable organization — including the website — to better serve those in need.
“This has been a tremendous project for our entire team," says Peter Gabany, president of Limelight. "We happened upon [Fare Share executive director] George Leger and his dedicated team essentially by accident, and that chance meeting started us on an extremely rewarding journey that has only just begun.”
Limelight is using Twitter and Facebook to encourage people to shop and donate at local grocery stores. Food bank staff are able to Tweet with specific requests for items the bank is in short supply of.
This is only one of the programs Limelight has in store for the bank, so stay tuned – there's much more to come.
