Limelight and Northumberland Hills Hospital launch new NHH website

Limelight Advertising & Design and Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) officially launched the Hospital’s new website today.

Now live, the launch of the site was scheduled to coincide with the Community Advisory Panel portion of the Hospital’s Shared Challenge, Shared Solution initiative.

Initial response from the senior management team at NHH has been overwhelmingly positive. “Site looks great, and navigates very well . . . this represents a big leap forward,” said Jennifer Gillard, Director, Communications and Community Engagement for the Hospital.

Created by Limelight for NHH, the new website incorporates a brand-new, user-friendly design, improved functionality and expanded information to carry NHH forward into a new era. Eagle.ca of Cobourg is hosting the site, using server technology incorporating internal and external data backup and hardware redundancy.

The new site was developed with ease of usability as a primary consideration. In addition to simplified, user-intuitive navigation, new capabilities include:

  • A site search function
  • Real-time editing capability for NHH staff
  • RSS feeds for news articles, NHH publications and job postings
  • HTML e-Greetings, which site users can send to friends and family patients
  • An expanded section for the NHH Foundation and online donations
  • New content, including a Media Centre and a section devoted to updates and
  • information on the Shared Challenge, Shared Solution initiative

Limelight is proud to have worked with Northumberland Hills Hospital on this successful project.
