Several years ago Limelight became part of the birth of a hybrid medical transfer company - Paladin Canada. Since its development, Paladin quickly emerged as one of the leading medical transfer companies serving the Greater Toronto Area. Since that time Paladin has merged its business with another leading transfer company - Ontario Patient Transfer (OPT).
Recently though in a move to expand their business model of fast, efficient and compassionate care the two companies have bid and won business expansion in the Ottawa and Peterborough markets. With the recent consolidation of Ontario Health services, patients experience inordinate wait times coming and going, a need to reach satellite treatment centres and often waited needlessly while health specialist do the best within their means to triage patients.
Being a partnering of companies, principals from both companies elected to brand a new company that would quickly be identified by the regions in which they serve as their own. Both community regions share a unique cultural mix - not only is there a French /English mix but both regions enjoy several First Nations communities within their service area.
Limelight selected the name Travois.
It was selected to serve as a reminder
of the regions cultural mix while addressing what it is that they do. Since
the development Limelight has been asked to coordinate the following:
- Design of Corporate Identity.
- Stationery package for on-line use.
- Printed stationery.
- Media relations for grand opening and unveiling of the Travois identity.
- Vehicle graphics.
- Brochure of services.
